Interesting: Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless lens roadmap leaked online, official announcement next week

I just posted this on PhotoRumors , but I think it will be also of interest for [NR] readers how Canon will approach their full frame mirrorless solution. Here is the leaked Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless lens roadmap – the official announcement is next week  (September 5th): EOS R body EOS R 24-105mm kit RF 35mm f/1.8 M IS RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM RF 28-70 mm f/2 L USM RF 24-105mm f/4 L USM EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM EF 400mm f/2.8 L III EF 600mm f/4 L III There will also be a new M-R adapter and an additional PD-E1 accessory. Breaking: Nikon Z6 and Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras and three lenses coming on August 23rd, Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens to be announced later

I have some important new details to share on the upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless camera : The names of the two new Nikon full-frame cameras will be: Nikon Z6 : high speed, low light model (24MP) Nikon Z7 : high-resolution model (45MP) The new Nikon mirrorless lenses could be called Z-Nikkor . Ok, you better sit down for that one: there will be a Nikon Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens ! This will be the fourth Z-mount lens and it will be announced after August 23rd (I have no exact date yet). In the next official teaser or in the final press release, Nikon will greatly emphasize the inner diameter of the new mount

Official press release: Nikon develops the next-generation full-frame mirrorless camera

As expected and previously reported, on their 101st anniversary Nikon announced the development of their new, next-generation full-frame mirrorless camera : The mirrorless camera is the result of Nikon’s advanced optical and manufacturing capabilities gained through over a century of heritage. The new mount “will work with the NIKKOR F mount lenses”. Nikon will continue to lead imaging culture with the launch of this new mirrorless camera, as well as with the continued development of Nikon digital SLR cameras

Nikon mirrorless camera announcement confirmed for August 23rd

    Three weeks ago I reported that the new Nikon mirrorless camera will be announced on July 23rd and shipping will start on August 23rd. My report was slightly off as I already clarified in previous posts – the teaser campaign started on July 23 and the official release will be on August 23rd.

First leaked picture of the new Nikon mirrorless full frame camera (with Z-mount?)

This is supposed to be the first leaked picture of the upcoming Nikon mirrorless full-frame camera (see specs and teaser ). I am not sure if it is a spy shot or a part of the ongoing marketing campaign
