Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens listed as discontinued at Nikon UK store

I am not sure if this is a mistake, but the Nikon UK store lists the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens as discontinued (this listing has been online at least for a few weeks): The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens was announced in March 2013 and it’s currently  in stock in the US . In the UK WEX is “awaiting stock”  while Amazon and Jessops have the lens in stock. ProGrade will not manufacture XQD memory cards, Lexar is currently producing XQD memory cards

Two readers contacted me with some information on the future of XQD – ProGrade confirmed that they will not manufacture XQD memory cards ( they already sell SD memory cards in the US ): Lexar, on the other hand, is currently producing XQD cards: All Lexar XQD memory cards are currently out of stock . All Sony XQD memory cards  are currently in stock . Lexar XQD memory cards discontinued (again)

B&H sent out emails to existing pre-orders that the  Lexar 64GB XQD memory card is now officially discontinued by the manufacturer and all orders will be canceled: “You recently placed an order for the following item – B&H #LEXQD2933X64 Unfortunately, the manufacturer has informed us that this item is discontinued and they will not be able to fulfill your order. Being as such, we have canceled this item off your order.” Amazon currently has the 32GB version in stock by a third party reseller. Sony XQD memory cards are also currently in stock .

Lexar XQD 128GB memory cards now in stock at Amazon US (with a price drop)

Lexar XQD memory cards have been hard to get in the last few months and the 128 GB version is finally in stock at Amazon US  (update: sold out now). The price has also dropped from $159 to $123

Canon Canada Price Increases Confirmed
