Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 Coming for Photokina [CR2/CR3]

This has been a hard lens to pin down, likely because it’s still a long way off, with the expected announcement in August/September 2018 ahead of Photokina. We reported last month that the lens was going to be a 50mm equivalent for APS-C and that it was going to be fast

The Coming EF-M Prime to be 50mm Equivalent for APS-C EOS M [CR2]

We’re told that the EF-M prime coming later this year will be a “50mm equivalent” and “fast”. If we had to guess, it’s going to be en EF-M 35mm (56mm equivalent) f/1.4 or /1.8.

New EF-M Prime Lens Pushed Later Into 2018 [CR3]

We’re told that the rumoured new EF-M prime lens that was expected in March for CP+ has been pushed back until later in 2018. Unfortunately we still don’t have [CR3] confirmation of the focal length and aperture yet.

New EF-M Prime Likely Coming Ahead of CP+ [CR2]

We’re told that there are two new EF-M lenses slated for release in 2018, and the first one will likely come ahead of CP+, which begins on March 1, 2018. We weren’t told the focal length of the prime, and we don’t want to speculate either.
