What’s Not Coming in 2018?

There is still some chatter around the web that an EOS 7D Mark III will be coming ahead of Photokina in September. We can safely say that this is not the case and the EOS 7D Mark III will be coming some time in 2019.

A Shake-up Coming to the APS-C DSLR Lineup? [CR2]

It doesn’t appear that 2018 is going to bring us any interesting new DSLRs, we’re still being told that there won’t be another DSLR of significance released in 2018 (An announcement is always possible).

The Canon EOS 90D is Coming Later in 2018 [CR2]

While we’ve tried to confirm without any doubt that the EOS 7D Mark III is not coming in 2018, we haven’t done so yet. However, we’re 80% sure that’ll be the case. The first APS-C DSLR cameras will be three new Rebels next month ahead of CP+.

Canon Was Quiet at CES 2018, Expect More Noise Next Month Ahead of CP+

We sent this information out last Friday in our newsletter with some hopes of further confirming the following information. We know a couple of additional things that we cannot publish at this time. Canon was the quietest it has ever been at CES if my memory services me correctly

New Canon Cameras Up For Certification

More Canon cameras have appeared for certification as uncovered by Nokishita. We reported earlier today that the only remaining camera coming from Canon in 2017 will be the PowerShot G1 X Mark III. We do expect more PowerShot cameras to come ahead of CES in January and DSLRs to come ahead of CP+ in February.
