Interesting: there will be three different sizes of CFexpress memory cards

on March 13, 2019

A reader sent me some additional information I missed when I reported about the latest CFexpress 2.0  - there will be three different sizes of CFexpress memory cards: Type B is the same form factor as we already know as XQD, aimed at higher-end digital cameras Type C is a new, larger form factor aimed at replacing SSDs used in PCs, laptops, tablet PCs etc, with higher performance than Type B Type A is a new, smaller form factor, aimed at digital cameras that prioritize small size over capacity and performance compared to Type B DC.Watch  posted some prototype pictures of the different CFexpress types that were on display at the CP+ show: CFexpress Type A memory card CFexpress Type B memory card CFexpress Type C memory card Thanks Dave! The post Interesting: there will be three different sizes of CFexpress memory cards appeared first on Nikon Rumors .
