November CIPA Sales Numbers Are In, Year-Over-Year Slightly Up

CIPA sales numbers for November 2017 have been released, and show another decline in shipments when compared to 2015 and 2016.

Nikon delays the release of the N16F1 Bluetooth remote control

  Nikon filed paperwork with the FCC to delay the release of the previously rumored Bluetooth remote control N16F1 (Bluetooth 4.1 + LE): “We are requesting dismissal of the approved model FCC ID: CGJ1153EB which was issued in August 8, 2017, dueto the reasons stated below:Change of sales start date and the device has not been sold in any country yet, including USA.

The new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR lens will be priced around $10,000, shipping will start in March

The current Nikon 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II model The Japanese price of the upcoming Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR lens is going to be ¥1,287,900 including tax, or around $11,400. Based on this information, I am guessing that the US price of the lens will be around $10,000
